Interestingly, this yellow core hound appearance was created by applying the glow and flames from an orange core hound over the body texture of a green core hound.

| Retains its original name after taming. Wanders the perimeter of the area north of (and up from) the Dark Portal blast zone. Gomegaz only appears in the original, pre-"Iron Horde Invasion" phase of the zone. Speak to Zidormi, in the passage to the Swamp of Sorrows, to access the pre-invasion phase. | |||
Level scaling: In Shadowlands most NPCs will scale with the Hunter's level, within the constraints of their level range. Hunters can tame regular NPCs up to 2 levels higher than them, but can only tame elite NPCs of the hunter's level or below.
