It spawns during the Blacksmithing quest An Ear to the Ground, which becomes available from your BfA Blacksmithing trainer when you reach a skill of 150 in Battle for Azeroth Blacksmithing. While the quest is in an open area, it appears to be phased so that only the quester can see the worms. | |||
Level scaling: In Shadowlands most NPCs will scale with the Hunter's level, within the constraints of their level range. Hunters can tame regular NPCs up to 2 levels higher than them, but can only tame elite NPCs of the hunter's level or below.
