	Only accessible during the quest Defending the Maelstrom.
Thrashing Crawler	50 Spawned	Mechagon
	Thrashing Crawlers may appear in a cave directly west of The Outflow. This cave is normally open and empty, but on days when Drill Rig Construction Projects appear then occasionally the cave will be sealed and a drill rig appears outside. If you activate and defend the drill rig then the cave will open and Gemicide will spawn, along with a host of Thrashing Crawlers. These shale spiders have azerite crystals on their heads and are currently classed as Elementals.

	Gemicide appears in a cave directly west of The Outflow. This cave is normally open and empty, but on days when Drill Rig Construction Projects appear then occasionally the cave will be sealed and a drill rig appears outside. If you activate and defend the drill rig then the cave will open and Gemicide will spawn. Gemicide has azerite crystals on its head and is currently classed as an Elemental.

Level scaling: In Shadowlands most NPCs will scale with the Hunter's level, within the constraints of their level range. Hunters can tame regular NPCs up to 2 levels higher than them, but can only tame elite NPCs of the hunter's level or below.
